The time has come to gleefully cart your out-of-town relatives to the airport and let out some silent screams into throw pillows as they take their damn time getting the eff out. As a post-holiday therapy session, Third Man Records delivers its annual Holiday Comedy Spectacular. Hometown anxiety hero Zach Martina once again joins a lineup, which includes Michigan native Brad Wenzel (who has been featured on Conan and performed at Gilda’s Laughfest) as well as Chicago’s Kristen Toomey, and Denver’s “absurd voice of a surreal generation” Sam Tallent. Melanie Hearn, Jeff Arcuri, Robert Jenkins, and Jeff Scheen are also on the bill.

Holiday Comedy Spectacular will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27 at Third Man Records; 441 Canfield St., Detroit; 313-209-5205; thirdmanrecords.com; Tickets are $8-$10.
