Monster Jam will rev engines and break stuff at Ford Field this weekend

Monster Jam just celebrated its 25th anniversary and is bringing on some new acts for 2018 — and promising an exhilarating and loud ride from the stands of the stadium. Monster Jam features monster trucks racing against one another and crashing purposefully while flipping and spinning in the air at high speeds up to 100 mph. New this year is the Pit Party Early Access Pass that allows early access to the event and an up-close look at the trucks.

Monster Jam will take place Saturday, Feb 3Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and event begins at 7 p.m.; 2000 Brush St., Detroit; 313-262-2222; www.monsterjam.com; Tickets start at $15.
