Art-rock pioneer Todd Rundgren to perform in Ann Arbor

Posted By on Sun, Dec 10, 2017 at 6:19 AM

Hello, it’s me… well, no, not me, but singer, songwriter, and long-time wizard of art-rock Todd Rundgren. Over the course of 26 studio records and a career spanning half a century, Rundgren has never taken a break. His latest release, 2017’s White Knight, includes collaborations with artists as diverse as Trent Reznor, Daryl Hall, Bettye LaVette, Robyn, Donald Fagen, and Joe Walsh. Though his name may get lost in the shuffle of major players of the genre from time to time, the multi-instrumentalist, producer, and space rocker is still in the game.

Todd Rundgren will perform at the Michigan Theater on Tuesday, Dec. 12; 603 E. Liberty St., Ann Arbor; 734-668-8463; michtheater.org; doors open at 8 p.m.;  Tickets are $30-$75.
