GWAR brings their demonic doom metal to St. Andrew's Hall this weekend

Posted By on Thu, Dec 7, 2017 at 6:21 AM

When you go to heavy metal legend GWAR’s website you are reminded that you are actually entering the “Cyber-fortress of your Lords and Masters.” If you peruse the site further, you will be addressed as “human filth” with the friendly reminder that “death cannot kill GWAR. Nothing can. GWAR lives motherfuckers.” Known for their elaborate demonic stage costumery composed of enough spikes, teeth, horns, and bloody appendages to scare the shit out of Halloween, GWAR has been out for blood since 1984 and they show no sign of stopping.

GWAR will perform at St. Andrew's Hall on Sunday, Dec. 10; 431 E. Congress St., Detroit; 313-961-8961;; doors open at 6:30 p.m.; tickets are $28.
