Lifetime’s movie trailer for “Flint” showcases how the water crisis has ravaged the community

Lifetime has revealed the first trailer for the made-for-TV-movie Flint.

Obviously based off the on-going Flint water crisis, the movie’s trailer focuses on the impact the contaminated water has had on the four main characters, as well as the city in general.

The trailer shows stars Queen Latifah, Jill Scott, Betsy Brandt, and Marin Ireland discovering that Flint water was not clean (one scene shows Brandt holding two water bottles, one clean and one with contaminated, yellow, Flint water) and dealing with politicians who assure residents that "there is nothing to worry about."

The movie was directed by Bruce Beresford, who is best known for "Driving Miss Daisy,” and written by “Girls! Girls! Girls!” director, Barbara Stepansky.

The movie premieres on October 28 at 8 p.m. on Lifetime.
