Dancers, dance lovers, and choreographers will converge for the Detroit Dance City Festival this weekend

Time to dust off your dancing shoes: The Detroit Dance City Festival is on its way. Over the course of three days, the event will serve as a community celebration of dance in its many disciplines. Guests will have the opportunity to explore a diverse variety of workshops, performances, and networking opportunities in locations across the city. The work of over 80 local, national, and international performers and companies will also be featured through the duration of DDCF.

The festival takes place at the Detroit Institute of Arts from Friday, Aug. 18 through Sunday, Aug. 20.



Workshop and showcase times vary, so check detroitdancecityfestival.com for a full schedule. The Detroit Institute of Arts is located at 5200 Woodward Ave., Detroit. Workshop passes are $55, choreographer showcase passes are $20, dance and celebration passes are $25.
