Some credit is really due to President Trump for this one. The yellow-haired commander-in-chief has created an environment so politically toxic that Head Liberal and documentarian Michael Moore is returning to cable television after a 17 year hiatus.

According to a story on, cable network TNT has ordered episodes for the non-fiction TV show, which is currently titled Live from the Apocalypse. The show is slated to premier this fall.

According to the article, the show will spare no one, promising an immersive experience in middle America.

“In the series, Moore and his merry band of journalists, pranksters and citizen-rebels will fearlessly go where the mainstream media and political hacks of both parties are afraid to go,” reads the TNT logline. “The series will dive deep into the abyss of Washington, stalk the scions of Wall Street and crash the playgrounds of America’s wealthiest 1% – and they’ll do it by not just flying over the Heartland. No one in power will be spared either the unblinking lens of Moore’s camera nor the sting of his pointed satire.”
Moore, who was born in Flint, is known for documentaries like Roger & Me, Bowling for Columbine, Fahrenheit 9/11, and Sicko as well as cable shows TV Nation and The Awful Truth.
