Wanna party with the best of the Motor City? This weekend is your chance.

As you may know, each year we ask our esteemed readers to vote on the best in Metro Detroit, and then we gather them all under one roof and throw a party in their honor. Just as new restaurants, bars and activities emerge in the city every year, so does a whole new set of 'Best of Detroit' winners, all hand-selected by YOU!

Last year's festivities featured some great food, drinks and entertainment. This year's party will feature refreshments from Iridescence, Top of the Pontch, Rock City Eatery and many more of the 2016 winners, and attendees will get a chance to see what really makes these spots the best.

The annual get-down will be held at Soundboard in Motor City Casino Hotel on Friday, 5/13. The party starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $40. The event is 21 and up and will feature live music, dancing, specialty drinks and food.
