Is there anything better than a new ‘do? How about saving money on that ‘do while supporting a great cause? Yep, you read that right. This charity event will save you money.

Birmingham’s Cole Street Salon is offering half price haircuts to benefit Child Safe Michigan, a Royal Oak non-profit that provides foster care, adoption, and mentoring to abused and at-risk children. The cut-a-thon happens this Sunday, May 1, from noon to 4 p.m.

In addition to discounted cuts from their talented team of stylists, the posh salon will also host appearances by Batman and Snow White as well as a silent auction. All proceeds from the event go to Child Safe.

Cole Street Salon is located at 2388 Cole Street in Birmingham.
