Southfield baby boutique celebrates grand opening

Posted By on Fri, Oct 9, 2015 at 5:00 PM

If you're currently embracing life as a new mom (or dad!), chances are you're burned out on Babies 'R' Us and Target's dismally small section for infants. Who wants the same 10 Carters outfits as every other baby on the block? Who wants the small Jenny Lind crib as the other moms at moms group? No one.

A new boutique in Southfield aims to bring a little diversity to the baby game. Beautiful Beginnings Baby Boutique opened in July and is already undergoing what they call a "revitalization." While they previously were offering personalized services, they now carry cribs, dressers, gliders, and fun gifts and books. They carry baptismal gowns, special occasion outfits, and everyday clothing too. Cozy sleep sacks, unique stuffed toys, and special keepsakes also line their shelves. They also carry bedding, chew beads, and baby essentials like Bumbo floor seats and baby food makers. Their wares come from American companies, but they also import goods from Canada, Spain, England, and France.

To celebrate a grand re-opening of sorts, the folks behind Beautiful Beginnings will be offering a free mattress with any crib purchase and other discounts.

The boutique, located at 29875 Northwestern Highway in Southfield, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
