Niagara designed this year's Dally in the Alley poster

Posted By on Fri, Aug 28, 2015 at 1:03 PM

Each year, the organizers of the veritable institution that is Cass Corridor's Dally in the Alley festival get a different local artist to design its poster. And for this year's poster, the organizers enlisted another institution — the punk rocker-turned-fine-artiste Niagara

The former Destroy All Monsters frontwoman (and cover artist for Kid Rock's latest record) has made a name for herself with her paintings of femme fatales paired with snappy captions — so her "Would you like to Dally in the Alley?" proposition is both right at home in her ouvre as well as a proper advertisement for the fest.

As you can tell from the poster, this year's Dally is Saturday, Sept. 12 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with a rain date of Sept. 13. View all of the Dally in the Alley posters from throughout the ages at the official Dally website, or read our interview with Niagara from earlier this year here.
