Voting now open for Miss Ink Detroit 2015, plus INK.² art show submission deadline extended

Posted By on Fri, Apr 10, 2015 at 12:11 PM

The INK.² art show returns on June 5 and 6, and in addition to filling the Detroit's Tangent Gallery with plenty of tattoo-inspired artwork, this year organizers will also crown a Miss Ink Detroit 2015. They've narrowed 60 nominees down to 14 tattooed beauties, and they now need your help in crowning the inkiest of them all.

If judging a tattoo beauty contest is your bag, head over to the semifinalists photo album at the INK.² Facebook page. Votes are cast by simply "liking" the photos of your favorite ladies. Voting runs until the end of April, and on Saturday, June 6, the finalists will compete. There will be cash prizes for a winner and two runner-ups.

The INK.² art show has also extended its deadline. The deadline for submissions is midnight, Thursday, April 16, 2015. Read the full rules over at the show's call for entries Facebook page. Accepted artists will be notified by Monday, April 20.
