Breaking news: adorable doggy fashion show not yet sold out

Posted By on Fri, Mar 13, 2015 at 10:50 AM

Okay, maybe "breaking news" is a strong term. But, really, this adorable doggy fashion show that supports local nonprofit Detroit Dog Rescue is happening on Sunday and there are still some tickets available.

It all goes down at Birmingham's swanky Townsend Hotel from 2 to 5 p.m on Sunday, March 15. The show will have Detroiters strutting down the catwalk wearing fashions from local designers and using chic pet accessories and pooch-friendly fashion items. Each dog that takes a stroll down the runway will be up for adoption, hoping to go to its forever home on the very same day.

The show will be hosted by Fox 2's Amy Lange, there will be a red carpet for attendees to walk, and cocktails, a strolling lunch, and dessert. Tickets are $55 at the door. Check for more info.
