Heads up, Detroit's creative class — due to unforeseen circumstances, the March Drinks x Design event venue has changed from the Detroit Design Center to Fortress Studios.

The time and date remain the same, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 12. Fortress Studios is located at 7332 Oakland Ave., Detroit. 21 plus only.

RSVP for the event here, or learn more about Fortress Studios here.

This month's DxD event will feature the work from participants in the Deconstruction Product Design Exercise, which invited industrial designers to create a prototype of a marketable product using materials from Sit On It Detroit.

Fortress Studios is an art center in the Northend neighborhood of Detroit dedicated to providing low cost living and studio facilities. Drinks x Design is a monthly open studio hosted by Detroit Design Festival and the Metro Times that offers a networking event for Detroit's creative community, focusing on a new design discipline each month.

See you there.
