Katoi will fully reopen to the public on Aug. 28, and its owners are planning a new restaurant, the Freep reports

The hip Thai-inspired Corktown eatery burned in a February fire and has remained closed since.

The Freep also reports that co-owner Phillip Kafka is planning a food and beverage-focused development for the Magnet Radiator Works building at Grand River Avenue and 16th Street.

It'll include a commissary kitchen, coffee roasting plant, and public green space, and Kafka is targeting a spring 2018 opening.
