Metro Times' annual vodka tasting event takes place this Saturday at the Royal Oak Music Theatre. There will be tons of spirits to sip on and a fashion show put on by Lover's Lane, but we've already detailed that info here.

The bigger news, perhaps, is that 50 Cent will be make an appearance at the taste fest. The rapper, who declared bankruptcy this year after being ordered by a judge to pay $7 million in restitution to a woman he posted a sex tape of online as well as an $18.4 million settlement for a bad business deal, will briefly stop into the event sometime during the evening, but no specific time has been set.

His appearance is in accordance with his partnership with Dutch vodka company Effen, who he'll be representing during his stop.

Vodka Vodka takes place at Royal Oak Music Theatre on Saturday, Jan. 23. Click here for tickets.
