Niki's giving away 1,000 slices of pizza Thursday

Posted By on Tue, Apr 21, 2015 at 11:47 AM

Well, we just got the official word: Niki's Pizza in downtown Detroit will be giving away 1,000 slices of its pizza between 1 and 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 23. And, take it from somebody who has eaten more than 1,000 pieces of Niki's pizza (our offices were a five-minute walk away from the pizzeria and bar), it's a decent square slice at a nice price (usually $2 for carryout). Deal applies to only cheese and pepperoni slices.

Want another? Additional cheese and pepperoni slices will go for just $1 between 1 and 3 p.m. Thursday. (The day's deals only apply to carryout; dining in will be at usual prices.)

Niki's Pizza is at 735 Beaubien St., Detroit; 313-961-4303; nikisdetroit.com.
