Love Treat Dreams? We do too. That's why we we're stoked to hear that the Ferndale operation has plans to open a shop in Detroit this spring.

The Hungry Dudes reported earlier this morning that Treat Dreams owner Scott Moloney is looking to take over the former Melt space in Midtown.

Here's the news right from the horse's mouth:

Hello Midtown! Looking forward to a long and beautiful relationship.https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=938386079529193&id=143005712400571

A definitive open date has not yet been set, though the Dudes say he's hoping to shove off sometime in May.

Until then, folks will have to get their fix in Ferndale, or by chasing down Treat Dreams' mobile ice cream caravan, the Dream Machine.
