There are still four more days Plymouth Restaurant Week

Isn't Plymouth just the cutest? Don't you just want to pinch its wittle cheeks? Those of us who aren't fortunate enough to call the city home are usually dreaming up reasons to visit. Thankfully, it's not hard to come up with an excuse to hit the downtown area, which is littered with totally adorable boutiques, fudge shops, and restaurants. But in case you're looking to justify a visit within the next four days, we've got just the thing. 

Plymouth Restaurant Week, a bit of a misnomer as it runs nine days in total, is currently in full effect. The celebration of dining runs until Saturday, Oct. 4. During this time patrons can enjoy prix fixe menus at restaurants like The Post, The Sardine Room, Penn Grill, Stella's Tavern, Ironwood Grill, Compari's, and E.G. Nick's. 

Multi-course meals are available at each restaurant for $15, $25, or $35. (Those prices don't include beverages, tax, or gratuity.) No tickets or passes are required, just visit the restaurant of your choice and ask for the special restaurant week menu. It's that simple.

Each restaurant has put together a three or four-course menu with a selection of choices for each course. For example. Fiamma Grille's first course options are calamari steak, arancini, or an individual cheese tasting. Their second course options are a house salad or season soup. For their main course, guests can pick from a list that includes Norwegian salmon, flat iron steak, Lake Superior walleye, and Shrimp Farfalle. Dessert is tiramisu or cheesecake. 

Nico & Vali's three-course, $25 menu includes options like caprese salad, lamb porter, seafood pasta, chicken saltimbocca, cannoli, and amaretto cheesecake. Sean O'Clallaghan's will have options like loaded house-made potato crisps, crispy calamari, baked spinach dip, shepherd's pie, fish and chips, mac 'n' cheese, Irish bread pudding, and Guinness ice cream sundae for $25. Stella's Tavern will have roasted apple and brie bruschetta, pan seared pork loin chop, and assorted cheesecakes. The Sardine Room will offer quarter-pound peel-and-eat shrimp, Michigan tomato bisque, peas and carrots, and pork shank. You get the idea.
