El Comal

Posted on Wed, Oct 23, 1996 at 12:00 AM

The move from the original location on Junction to roomier quarters on W. Vernor has brought Elda Castellanos and her family more notice. Her Central Amercian fare includes pupusas (tortillas filled with beans, cheese or pork or a mixture of all three), shredded chicken with olives, capers and red peppers, and chuchitos (miniature pork tamales), and is augmented with Mexican fare. Unpretentious setting and service.
