Tee Grizzley is giving fans hope that they may someday receive a collaborative track with fellow Detroit rapper and Def Jam Recordings artist, Big Sean.

Shortly after one fan tweeted at the rapper asking for a “banger” from the two Detroit stars, Tee was quick to respond: “I’m waiting on him lol”

With no word from Big Sean yet, Tee’s tweet quickly made the rounds as fans called on Big Sean to join in on the Motor City hit waiting to happen. Although the Twitter rumors are by no means indicative of a single on the way anytime soon, it wouldn’t be the first time the Detroit-born broke-to-baller rapper has surprised fans.

Tee’s rap career took off almost immediately following his breakout track “First Day Out” which was released after the rapper finished serving a two-year prison sentence for multiple robbery charges. The song, packed with 80 bars and no hook, immediately garnered millions of hits on Youtube and didn’t slow down until it was named an RIAA Platinum single.

Flushed with offers from record labels, Tee signed with 300 Entertainment and has since produced a number of hit mixtapes and singles, and most recently performed at Little Caesars Arena with rapper Lil Wayne.
