The world's longest yard sale begins

Chances are that if you're into this sort of thing, you already know all about it, but the world's longest yard sale is about to begin. It begins in Michigan, about five miles north of Addison, in Lenawee County, and extends to the south as far as Gasden, Ala.
Its called "The 127 Sale," and it's almost 700 miles of deals. It all begins tomorrow, and you can be sure there are hundreds of buyers already lodged in motels along the route, with road crews and trucks ready to go.
We went two years ago, or at least for about 100 miles of it, and it was a blast. A surprising variety of people put things out in their front yards all along the route. We especially enjoyed finding things related to Michigan and in Ohio that were drastically marked down. (Apparently, many Ohioans don't care for the Wolverine State.)
The wares on sale range from small items to cars, boats, even unusual vehicles. Our friend Andy Down bought himself a French VéloSoleX, a sort of bicycle-moped hybrid, from a specialty vendor along the route.
