Attorney General Bill Schuette and former State Sen. Minority Leader Gretchen Whitmer will face off in the general election for Michigan governor.

With the state election coming up in a matter of weeks, the gubernatorial candidates are making their final push to win your vote.

Democratic candidate Gretchen Whitmer and Republican candidate Bill Schuette will appear together on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at the Motor City Casino hotel to answer audience-submitted questions regarding their respective campaign platforms and proposed policy initiatives.

Hosted by the Detroit Economic Club, the event will be moderated by Detroit Public TV's Christy McDonald. Members of the Detroit Economic Club may purchase tickets for $45, guests of Detroit Economic Club members may purchase tickets for $55.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, with the program beginning promptly at 12 p.m. Ticket information can be found at www.detroiteconclub.org.
