Pack it

While I realize that public space is, in fact public, I am continually amazed at how many people don’t. You know these entitled folks who stand in the middle of walkways, talk about their petty problems on cell phones and cut you off on the highway. As far as they are concerned, they have every right to do whatever the hell they want, whenever and wherever they feel like doing it — with absolutely no concern about the effect their actions have on others. Unwilling to deal with the court system, I refrain from hitting these people over the head with large monkey wrenches.

But with the increasing popularity of "backpacks on wheels," my reticence may change. If you’ve been to an airport in the last 10 years, you know what a pain in the ass these "conveniences" can be as you wait behind some bastard who takes forever to shove his roller bag into the overhead bin. Now, these bags have invaded schools, too.
