The Emerald Sinfonietta, a Grosse Pointe-based classical ensemble focusing on 20th century and other rarely played music, performs works by Holtzbauer, Johann Stamitz and Hindemith, with featured soloists Hart Hollman (viola), Robert Bergman (cello) and Peter A. Soave (accordion), this Sunday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial, 32 Lake Shore Drive, Grosse Pointe Farms.The Sinfonietta will be conducted by Felix Resnick, its music director, in this combined celebration of the Mannheim musical tradition and benefit concert for the Fowler Center.
