ICYMI: 'Nation's largest pot hole' crops up on I-75 near Detroit

In case you were pre-occupied with other news yesterday — the Packard Plant tiger, for instance — a pretty big pot hole popped up along I-75, destroying some 25 tires and the dreams of many a metro Detroit commuter just hoping to arrive to work on time.

Social media users were quick to posts photos of the beast, and many have rushed to call it the largest pot hole in the United States:

The Freep reported yesterday that the pot hole clocked in at 2-feet by 3-feet and that road crews were on site to administrator repairs.

Let's all hope they have more success than this 2014 metro Detroit pot hole patching crew:
