We'd be remiss to point out that Green Living Science is currently in the middle of a fundraising campaign to help get more households in Detroit recycling. Aside from recycling education, a sizeable obstacle for some households is the $25 fee for a recycling bin.

Green Living Science hosts free recycling workshops that teach people how to reduce their waste and take advantage of Detroit's curbside recycling program.
