Detroit teachers are using Twitter to document poor school conditions

Following the Detroit Public Schools teacher sick-out protests (and The Detroit News' callous dismissal of said protests), DPS teachers have taken to Twitter to further spread awareness of their cause. Using the Twitter handle @teachDetroit, the teachers have been posting photos showing the deplorable environment where DPS students are expected to learn.

The photos show crumbling walls and floors, mold, leaking ceilings, and other horrors:
