These Detroit Lions players prove that the anticipation of the unknown is scarier than any team or player.

The players participated in a harrowing game of “What’s In The Box?” on the Detroit Lions twitter account, and the results will make anyone who has ever panicked when the lights go out feel right at home. Marvel as these humongous athletes who brave terrible injuries every week are paralyzed with fear by a small plastic lion.

It’s easy to watch and laugh, but anybody who has seen Seven could tell you it isn’t always pineapples in those mysterious boxes.

The Detroit Lions host many of these kinds of silly team videos, such as the whisper challenge. The account is a good follow for anyone looking to see players in a more toned-down setting. For more information about the upcoming season, you can check out the Detroit Lions schedule here.
