The annual party dates back to the 1930s, when the Detroit Artists Market was founded. This year, more than 125 artists will be selling paintings, photographs, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, and more.
The sale runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Music is provided by the Barrel Brother's Street Band and food by Slows Bar-B-Q, Motor City Brewing Works, Mudgie's, and Union Street. Admission cost is a DAM membership — there are various price levels; see the DAM website for more information.
