James Davis Jr. was deemed unfit for trial on March 23, according to MLive. The news outlet reports that it spoke with Davis' court-appointed lawyer.
The 19-year-old is charged with two counts of open murder for shooting and killing his parents as they were helping him move out of the CMU dorms for spring break early last month. He allegedly got the gun from his dad's car.
Davis is 19 years old. The night before the shootings, he was reportedly acting erratically and told police someone was trying to kill him. Police suspected his behavior was drug-induced.
