Call for guitarists: Tilted Axes returns!

Detroit-born composer Patrick Grant brings his Tilted Axes project home this summer.

Some MT readers may recall last year's article on native Detroiter Patrick Grant, and his Tilted Axes project. An experimental composer, now living in New York, Grant pioneered the idea of an electric guitar procession, creating his "Tilted Axes" events in which guitarists walk with electric guitars and miniature amplifiers, playing original compositions. Last year, Grant brought the concept to Detroit for on a chilly day, but residents still turned out to see the spectacle.

Well, Grant is bringing Tilted Axes back for Detroit's 313rd birthday celebration, and has issued a call for guitarists who'd like to participate. Just click here for details on how to join the most unusual parade going.
