Police responded to multiple calls for a "vicious animal at a home" and discovered an alligator in a backyard on Detroit's west side.
According to Fox 2, police went to the 12800 block of Strathmoor and found a 2-foot gator "charging out."
Animal control was called to remove the animal around 12:45 p.m. Click on Detroit was at the scene and took of video of officers capturing the alligator.
Alligators are notoriously dangerous animals. The capture downtown happened hours after a 2-year-old boy was dragged into a lagoon by an alligator in Orlando.
