If your brew just never got cold enough this summer, the impending international launch of Arc, a new patented frozen lager from Bass Brewers, UK, will give your taste buds something cold and frothy to look forward to. The extraordinary beer has already hit London pubs, and will be on its way to the United States by the end of the year. Arc isn’t frozen solid, as it still pours from a tap, but it forms a perfect head with small ice crystals. A special high-pressure, low-temperature system — which includes an ultrasonic trigger and subzero cooling — makes this possible rendering a "super-chilled" lager that is unlike any other.
