Since leaving the White House, former First Lady Michelle Obama has kept busy — most recently on a public speaking tour in support of her memoir, Becoming.

Before heading to Little Caesars Arena for "Becoming: An Intimate Conversation with Michelle Obama," the former First Lady made a preliminary stop to surprise college kids at Detroit's Motown Museum.

The video uploaded by a Reddit user shows Obama being greeted by her brother Craig Robinson and native- Michigander and Key & Peele star Keegan Michael-Key. Obama then sits down with an excited group of males students from Wayne State University for a roundtable discussion on education.
Motown Records is one of the sponsors of Obama's book tour. As part of her collaboration with Motown, Michelle Obama shared a playlist entitled "Becoming Motown" that features a selection of 40 of her favorite new cuts and old Motown classics.

Becoming is an autobiographical memoir detailing Michelle Obama's personal experience in the White House, her campaign on public health, and how she learned to find her voice as a minority woman in America. Obama's Detroit stop was part of her 10-date tour in support of the memoir. Last night's book discussion was greeted by a sold-out crowd at Little Caesar's Arena.
