If there's any complaint that can be lodged against McDonald's, it's that waiting at the counter for Chicken McNuggets and Quarter Pounders after you order is less than ideal.

Why stand around when someone could bring you a heap of paper-wrapped fast food on a brown plastic tray?

Burger fans rejoice: McDonald's is now offering digital ordering kiosks and partial table service at 80 of its Michigan restaurants, MLive reports. Those who want the service are required to place an order at the kiosks, sit down, and wait for their food.

For customers who don’t want to leave the house, McDonald’s is available for delivery through UberEats.

The company is expecting to roll out the kiosks in all Michigan restaurants and all McDonald's stores nationwide by early 2020.

While the changes sound nice, does this mean the end of the McDonald's experience that customers know and love?

"It's not a different McDonald's. It's a better McDonald's," Gary Granader, a Wyandotte McDonald's owner assures MLive.
