Video: Watch this interview of Muhammad Ali on Detroit's 'Speaking of Sports'

Posted By on Sat, Jun 4, 2016 at 10:14 AM

News of Muhammad Ali's death broke late last night/early this morning (depending on what kind of creature you are), and people across the globe are sharing their memories of the legendary athlete and humanitarian, including many Detroiters.

One thing that caught our attention is this clip from the show 'Speaking of Sports,' which aired on WGPR-TV 62 in Detroit, from the mid-1970s featuring Muhammad Ali and track star Jesse Owens.

The host Bill Humphries interview with 'The Greatest' begins at 6:43, though the whole video is really worth the watch.
