Dan Gilbert has HOW MUCH money?

Posted By on Fri, May 27, 2016 at 12:45 PM

Holy shit, Dan Gilbert's net worth is a whopping $5.1 billion. That's billion. With a "b."

That number makes Gilbert, a known loather of graffiti, the richest person in the state of Michigan, according to a Forbes article that complied a list of the most wealthy people in every state in the nation.

Gilbert, a self-made rich person according to Forbes, owns the country's largest online mortgage lender (Quicken Loans, maybe you've heard of it) and recently launched Rocket Mortgage, an app to make the mortgage approval process even faster. He's known 'round these parts for buying up buildings in downtown Detroit and for his dislike of being criticized in the press

Daaaaamn, Daniel. Clearly, taking advantage of Detroit's economic landscape has served you well
