Map: Here's what Michiganders buy more than any other item

Posted By on Thu, Mar 5, 2015 at 1:00 PM

Huffington Post recently published a map illustrating the most popular types of stores in each state across the country, and Michiganders, it seems, buy a whole heck of a lot of brewing supplies.

It's hardly surprising, though, considering we've been called one of the best beer states in the U.S., and some Michigan schools are even offering full-fledged degrees in sustainable beer brewing.

The findings for other states, though, are more perplexing. What's Ohio's obsession with car battery stores? Or Virginia's with rugs?

Head over to HuffPo for additional details, like how the info for this map was collected.
