Here's the trailer for #adetroitfilm

Posted By on Mon, Dec 1, 2014 at 8:56 AM

Detroit skateboarder turned filmmaker Jordan Garland says he's on a mission to paint a picture of Detroit that's different from what the national media tends to portray.

Specifically, he's seeking to connect local artists, musicians, and athletes to present a version of Detroit to the world from the inside out. At least that's the gist of Garland's new short film, #adetroitfilm, which had its official trailer release last week.

"I'm so proud to be able to say I was born in a city that is like Detroit. We have the opportunity to tell a story no ones ever going to be able to tell again. There's no other city that's gone through this," Garland told Click on Detroit.
