Wheel of Fortune's Wheelmobile to spin through Detroit

Posted on Thu, May 22, 2014 at 3:18 PM

Look at this glamorous Winnebago, filled with the fabulous and exciting opportunity to win the chance be a contestant on TV's most popular game show!

Wheel of Fortune's 36-foot Winnebago, aptly named the Wheelmobile, is set to roll through town May 30 and 31 in search of contestants for the long-standing television game show.

We know, right? Stop everything!

Metro Detroit residents will have the chance to audition for the show from 4 to 8 p.m. next Friday and Saturday when the Wheelmobile will be stationed at 2600 Atwater Street in Detroit, a space better known as Chene Park.

Applicants will be asked to submit an application on site and participants will be picked to come to the stage through a random drawing.

Contestants must be 18 or older and will be chosen in part based on their level of enthusiasm and energy. So bring the hype.

Also, Pat Sajak and Vanna White will not be present.
