Detroit's largest selfie is happening and you're invited

Posted By on Thu, Feb 13, 2014 at 9:40 AM

We don't really think this would be considered a "selfie" (don't you have to, you know, take the photo yourself?), but selfie is a buzzword these days. Like how we don't "fundraise" anymore, we "crowdfund" — or how people these days aren't mere "graphic designers," they're "Adobe Illustrator Ninjas." Whatever.

Anyway, organizers of an initiative dubbed #DetroitWeek are organizing a giant ... um, photo, and they want you to be in it:

Detroit’s largest selfie photo will take place on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 10 a.m. on the steps of the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) during Detroit Week. Be a part of history and join us for Detroit’s largest selfie! Official Detroit Week Event presented by the Established Co.

Calling on entrepreneurs, corporate professionals, creatives, news anchors, politicians, and ...

See you there.
