Bridge Bluster: A Video Debunking

After listening once again to lawyers for the Detroit International Bridge Company claim in court last week that the fence their client erected on public land in Riverside Park is needed to thwart terrorism, and after being told by bridge company President Dan Stamper that — contrary to what this rag had previously reported — a similar fence on the north side of the span sealed it off completely, intern Jacob Hurwitz-Goodman and I decided to take a video camera down there to show people the truth about what’s really going on.
