Midwest rockers Umphrey's McGee are headed to Detroit this winter for a two-night run.
The progressive-jam band, known for their long, improvisational sets, have cultivated a strong national gathering since forming in South Bend, Indiana in 1997. Having clocked in over 2,000 live shows since that time, Umphrey's McGee wows audiences by playing a different set each night, often treating fans to mash-up covers like "Come as Your Kids" – a hybrid of Nirvana's "Come as You Are" and MGMT's indie-hit, "Kids."
Following the band's eleventh record and recent double album, It's Not Us and It's You, Umphrey's McGee will be heading to The Fillmore on Friday, Feb. 22 and Saturday, Feb. 23. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Oct. 19 starting at $20 with a limited supply of two-day tickets for $50 available here.
