You may have heard of a little band from Liverpool called the Beatles who made the Cavern Club famous. Well, as you may have guessed, that was the Cavern Club in Liverpool. But Ann Arbor's version has the original's low-ceilinged ambience, and even if the old-time rock'n' that roll A2 native Bob Seger yowled on about has aged a bit, the Cavern still hosts the old girl's finest old-school local practitioners. On any given weekend, you'll hear blues, rockabilly, rock 'n' roll and R&B chords and choruses ringing from beautifully converted innards of this former brewery.
