Regardless of if you're in Austin right now, Detroit-based show promoter, Six Two along with the folks at Detroitrap.com just put together a mixtape of music from a large number of the Michigan-based hip-hop artists that are performing at SXSW this year. The mixtape is naturally called Michigan Made and was created in support of the Michigan Made showcase that's happening in Austin this Friday, March 19th, at Mi Casa Cantina. Almost everybody on the compilation is performing at the show with the exception of Marvwon who was supposed to be in Texas this week but canceled at the last minute.

Not only are all of the songs on this mixtape made by Michigan rap acts but they were put together by Michigan-based producers as well. If that doesn't fit with the whole #importedfromdetroit theme that's becoming more and more prevalent on Twitter right now, I don't know what does.

You can stream the whole mixtape here.
