SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION: MT ON SATELLITE RADIO THIS WEEKEND

Nov 25, 2009 at 2:56 pm

Just got word from show producer and local publicist extraordinaire Kim Silarski that this weekend's Motor City Hayride, Don Was' weekly satellite radio program on Little Steven's "outlaw" radio network, will feature an interview with MT's music editor Bill Holdship (um, that would be me, shamelessly writing in the third person today). Also featured on the program will be occasional MT contributor and Detroit musician Khary Kimani Turner and Detroit News scribe-local musician-Small's Bar proprietor Melody Baetens. The episode was taped at Small's earlier this past summer. The Hayride can be heard on XM12 at 10 p.m. on Saturday night, with rebroadcasts at 8 a.m. on Sunday and 10 a.m. on Monday. In the words of Ms. Silarski: Have a lovely holiday weekend!
