Rodriguez gets reissued on cassette

Rodriguez, Detroit's blast from the past musical success story, is getting re-released on a format that's also a blast from the past: the cassette. Burger Records (who have made a name for themselves for revitalizing the novelty format in the garage-punk world) are teaming up with Light In The Attic records (credited for reviving Rodriguez's career by reissuing Cold Fact in 2008) to release both Rodriguez albums on cassette tomorrow, May 13. It's the first in a weekly release schedule which also features both news and old-school artists like the Black Angels, Roky Erickson, Built to Spill and more.

The limited edition tapes are sure to go fast. They're also available in a subscription service — see Light In The Attic for more details. The release schedule is below:
