In the midst of yet another dismal weather forecast, we have some summery news — low key crooner Ray LaMontagne announced this afternoon he's got his "Part of the Light" tour all set, and it includes a stop at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre on Sunday, July 1.

LaMontagne, who is behind hits like "Jolene," "You are the Best Thing," and "Trouble," is expected to release his seventh studio album in May. It will share the same name as his upcoming summer tour, and fans can pre-order it on his website.

Tickets for LaMontagne's Detroit stop go on sale Friday, March 9 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster, LiveNation, and 313Presents. They can also be purchased at the Fox Theatre and Little Caesars Arena box offices or by calling 800-745-3000.

Lawn tickets are $39.50 (a four-pack is available for $118), and pavillion seats will run $49.50, $59.50 and $79.50.
