The man of many names is making his Michigan return this August. Kool Keith (a.k.a. Dr. Octagon, Black Elvis, Crazy Lou, and Dr. Dooom; among others) will be headlining at the Russell Industrial Center as part of the Michigan Glass Project which takes place Friday, July 20 through Sunday, July 22.

The last time Kool Keith stopped through Detroit was nearly two years ago. Since then, the eccentric rapper and Bronx native added a new album, Moosebumps: An Exploration Into Modern Day Horripilation, to his repertoire. While his lyrics can range from harsh and horrific to incomprehensible and inconceivable, only Kool Keith can rhyme "PayPal" with "crack vile" and make it flow like Shakespeare.

Kool Keith Tickets are $30 in advance and include access to the entire Michigan Glass Project event. Tickets can be purchased here.
